The Breastfeeding Medicine Network – Australia/New Zealand Ltd (ABN 91 634 040 618) (“Breastfeeding Medicine Network” or “we” or “our”) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee that may collect and store personal information including from individuals who are medical practitioners and members of the Breastfeeding Medicine Network. The personal information we collect and store is used for the purpose of providing, administering, improving and personalising our services, administration of our practitioner directory and educational programs and will be managed in accordance with our privacy policy.

The types of personal information Breastfeeding Medicine Network collects includes:

(a)             names;

(b)             contact details (including address, email address, telephone number(s) and other contact details);

(c)             professional details including your qualifications, medical registration details, practice location or employer details and specialty; and

(d)             other information you provide to us.

This information is collected for the following reasons:

1.      to allow us to call or email you if you lodge a request or enquiry or would like to learn more about our organisation;

2.      to maintain a directory of medical professionals and publish their details on our website at their request; or

3.      to comply with any relevant laws, regulations, codes of practice and court orders.

If it is reasonable and practical to do so, we will only collect personal information directly from individuals.

All personal information we collect is held electronically in a secure manner. It will only be used for the purposes noted above and it will not be disclosed to any third parties unless otherwise provided in our Privacy Policy.

You have the right to view the information collected about you, the right to correct the information if it is not accurate, up to date or complete. Should you ask us to remove your information from our records we will do so securely.
